About Bureau

Attention to audit in Palestine started with the advent of Palestine National Authority together with establishment of different institutions and entities. The presidential decree 22/1994 instated the General Audit Institution, followed by the decree law 17/1995 on the General Audit Institution. GCI commenced action in Gaza and Ramallah, human resources were recruited and it kept operating until the State Audit and Administrative Control Bureau law 15/2004, based on the Palestinian Basic Law of 2003, was enacted.

    • SAACB holds ‘internal control strengthening’ training course at military intelligence


    SAACB held a special training course on ‘internal control strengthening’ in the Palestinian Military Intelligence offices, Ramallah on Monday 03.11.2025, moderated by a team of specialist trainers from SAACB, where a number of personnel took part. The course is part of the cooperation between SAACB and Military Intelligence in order to enhance training, development and institutional capacity building, eventually establishing the transparency and integrity principles, and asserting the integration between audit and security institutions to have the common national targets. Manager of governance and security audit department Mr. Omar Yasin and legal affairs manager Mr. Mohammed Manasrah opened the training. Internal control head Mr. Abdullah al-Ali and head of planning and development unit Mr. Yusuf Hantash moderated the course, in presence of MI control and inspection head brigadier Asrar Simreen and MI planning head brigadier Shamikh Fayoumi.
